Your privacy is important to us.
We have recently learned of two incidents in which both a patient and a non-patient were contacted by someone falsely claiming to represent our dental practices. While there is absolutely no evidence of any breach of our internal data, out of an abundance of caution we are informing all patients in case additional incidents of suspicious activity arise.
Our team members do occasionally contact patients by phone to collect outstanding payments and insurance information. However, if you are not comfortable providing this information over the phone, here are a few safe alternatives:
- Visit your practice to provide payment or insurance information in person.
- If you receive a phone call from one of our practices, call us back before providing private information.
- If you need to make an outstanding payment, visit our practice, use our [portal text=”online patient portal” type=”login” class=”has-text-weight-bold”] or mail a check directly to the practice.
We take your privacy very seriously and want to do everything we can to ensure your private information remains secure. If you have any concerns or suspect any fraudulent activity from someone claiming to represent our dental practices, please contact us at (912) 629-9000.
