We are honored to work closely with St. Joseph’s Candler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia on ‘Howard Hand in Hand,’ a support program for families at St. Joseph’s Candler that provides support, education and guidance to children and teens with a family member facing a life threatening disease.
Since the program started in 2014, ‘Howard Hand in Hand’ has accomplished:
- 31 Families have been assisted
- 54 local children have participated in Howard Hand in Hand program
- 3 Support Groups formed
- Serving the public and private school systems
The unique program is trail blazing and it is our goal to share this idea with many other hospital communities across the country. We could not support this great program without the help of our community!
