Dr. Erin Hopper
University of Kentucky College of Dentistry

Dr. Erin Hopper is originally from Winchester, KY. She completed her undergraduate degree in English and graduate studies in Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of Kentucky. She also received her DMD from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Her career as a rehabilitation counselor is what influenced her to become a dentist. She saw how oral health impacts every aspect of a person’s life from their careers, to romantic relationships, to the way they feel about themselves. Her favorite part of dentistry is being able to solve problems for her patients. The impact of her work is often immediate and it feels great when her patients come in with a problem and leave happy.  In her free time, Dr. Hopper enjoys yoga, photography, hiking, swimming, exploring local shops and restaurants. Her favorite beverage is Ale-8, a soda that is bottled in her hometown. Dr. Hopper is engaged and has a dog, Captain.
