Dr. Whirt is originally from Oldham County, Kentucky. He graduated magna cum laude with a degree in biology at the University of Kentucky. He went on to earn his doctorate at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. His skills include general and cosmetic dentistry, bridges, crowns, fillings, anterior root canals, teeth whitening and periodontal therapy.

Outside of the office, Dr. Whirt enjoys golf, traveling, Kentucky basketball and hiking outdoors. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Rachael Hunt Whirt, and their golden retriever, Luke.

Dr. Whirt has a great ability to connect with people on a personal level while improving their oral health. He is excited to be a part of the vibrant, growing community of Statesboro.
